I have come to learn...that no matter where we dwell in a city or in a rural area....there are ways to create outdoor spaces that can be creative and keep our interest.
I have two large decks attached to my house. As I sit on different parts of the decks, I can see new angles and various views of the surrounding flower beds that are within eye distance of the decks. I know what I like to see mixed and among my plants and flowers. When I look I can always see places I can put funky things that make me smile and add interest to my life...I just grab my camera or my drawing pad and dream away of new things I can add.
My old adult potty chair as been part of my 'under the apple tree' space for years now. After some repair this spring it is back in place and waiting for its annual pot of flowers. The flower basket that has been sitting beside of the chair is slowing falling apart...but had one more year or two summers left for plantings.
As soon as the weather is warmer, I will be out and about....planting my potty chair and basket plants.
I can't wait for more fun things to come into my view this summer!
